Multicanal BPPV patient has been suffering for the last 3 years. Multicanal cases are the most troublesome BPPV cases since the problem is in more than one channel. Several diagnostic maneuvers were executed to identify the problem canals (DH Right, Roll Right, Roll Left). Diagnosis is done and treatment maneuvers were selected accordingly (BBQ Right, Epley Right). Right after the treatment maneuvers, several control maneuvers are executed to verify the recovery state of the patient (Rol right control, DH Right Control) The patient has fully recovered.

All of this takes about 20 minutes. A literally crippled patient who can hardly walk unaided leaves the hospital happy and fully recovered.

Diagnostic, Treatment and Control maneuvers performed (in sequence)

  2. Roll Right
  3. Roll Left
  4. BBQ Right
  5. Epley Right
  6. Roll Right Control
  7. DH Right Control
DH Right diagnostic maneuver is being executed on the multichannel BPPV patient.
Roll Right diagnostic maneuver is being executed on the multichannel BPPV patient.
Roll Left diagnostic maneuver is being executed on the multichannel BPPV patient.
Now that the diagnosis is done, the BBQ Right Treatment maneuver is being executed on the multichannel BPPV patient.
Now that treatment is completed, the patient goes through the provoking maneuver again to see if the problem is fixed properly. DH Left control maneuver is being executed on the multichannel BPPV patient to see the outcome.
Since the patient is a multichannel BPPV patient with problems in more than one channel, another provoking maneuver is performed to see if the other channel is fixed as well.
With this last provoking control maneuver the patient is tested fully for recovery. The result is success and we have a happy patient who recovered fully.
