We are a two brother team. Elder brother is ENT specialist, the younger one is engineer.
We are both keen observers. Medical brother observes patients, how they progress, why they don’t progress, why somebody comes back after 3 years although was fixed perfectly the first time. This the key to most of his findings.
The engineer one observes devices, processes, existing instruments to see how can we make it better. As a team, we work together trying to make things better.
Prof. Dr. M. Haluk Ozkul has received his MD degree from Hacettepe Sivas Tip as rank #1. He has worked as a supervisor in Harvard Med. School Temporal Bone lab. He later served as clinical director in several different teaching hospitals training 100’s of ENT specialists. He is a practicing surgeon with literally 1000’s of successful surgeries under his belt. Prof. Ozkul has several patents related to ENT and author of several books and number of publications.

Prof. Dr. Tarik Ozkul has received his BS in EE from Bogazici University. MS and PhD from Florida Institute of Technology . He has worked as Design Engineer and R&D Director for private companies. While serving as a faculty, he tried increasing innovation capacity of his students by combining engineering courses with patent teaching. He is the founder of CIPDE education methodology coined “patent based education”. He has 50+ patents and developed 60+ equipment during his career. He has several books and number of technical publications.
He loves motocross in desert, proud owner of Yamaha WR250F specially modified for his height and gray wire modified. (pssst don’t mention that…) Although his battle scarred beauty has been rusting for sometime.
